Seminar: The New Regulations for Financial Management and Audit of EU Structural and Investment Funds, 2014-2020 Maastricht, 1-2 December 2015

The seminar will examine the new regulations for the 2014-2020 programming period, with respect to financial management, control and audit.

The objectives of this seminar are two-fold:

1. to bring together practitioners from the European, national and regional/local level, enabling them to share experiences and identify cases of good practice in the financial management, financial control and audit procedures for the Structural Funds in different Member States;

2. to discuss ways of implementing financial management rules and procedures, including budget management, financial flows, audit and financial control requirements, reporting, interim payments and the new accounting year, eligibility of expenditure rules, use of simplified cost options, calculation of grants, linking result-orientation of programmes to target-setting, etc.
